Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus was living among us, beginning from John’s baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witnesswith us of his resurrection.”
So they nominated two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias. Then they prayed, “Lord, you know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs.” Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles. Acts 1:21-26
"The knowledge that we are never alone calms the troubled sea of our lives and speaks peace to our souls." A. W. Tozer
Peace that comes from God is not a state of happiness that depends on circumstances. It is a deep, inner confidence that God is alive in us, working all things together for our good.
Being cool, calm, and collected is part of the blessing of our covenantal peace.
We all have a level of betrayal, denial, guilty silence, and withdrawal in our lives.
Problems, burdens, and disputes are hindrances to good fellowship and leadership.
Wisdom is the key to blessings, leadership, and fellowship.
Eleven is the number of integrity, integration, and format.
Being pro-blame, that is problematic and blasphematory.
It is wise to be for good solutions, i.e, emblematic and expiatory for blessing, salvation, and godly redemption.
